23piper It is interesting how critical he seems and then concludes it may be the best show of the tour. Overall, the impression is that the tour gets an A for effort and a B-/C+ for delivery. Based on what I've heard from my couch, that is not a fair assessment and is overly negative. My feeling is that the shows are being judged against some ideal of the perfect Phish show which I think changes for everyone -including the band. Right now they seem to be as consistently on fire, enthusiastic, and clearly blowing minds and showing folks a very, very good time. So seems to me A+ for effort and A for delivery - waiting for an A+ delivery which must be rare by definition.

Dude I understand that your reviews are just your opinion, but ALL your reviews tend to be somewhat negative. I also understand that everyone hears music differently, but you may want to take a look at why you always come off as negative or unhappy. Maybe your an overall unhappy person I dont know, but when posting reviews to the mass public you may want to curtail your overall negativity with some or a little positive words. If you are consistanly unhappy with Phish's music as of late why do you bother to attend anymore? It just really doesnt make any sense to me. I'm not trying to attack you, just trying to point out that your posts are an extention of you, and it seems you've got some issues you need to deal with b/c your always, and I mean always negative. Even of things are not that great, try to put some positive spin on them just a little, your reviews just always appear to be a debbie downer, just trying to help bud. Something you may want to take a deeper look at. ?Your in control of your own destiny, you can lead a happy life or not, just change your perspective a little and be a little more responsible with your opinions since this reaches a large audience.
Hold on, @bertoletdown basically says its best show of the tour, gotta read to the end. But still... I catch your drift. A little more enthusiasm wouldn't hurt. I am by no means asking you to look at the shows with rose colored glasses, and please please do continue to point out the "bad" spots, but this seems kind of workmanlike: just describing the show in chronological order. Maybe take a day off before posting and listen to the SBD or AUD to get more in depth. Gee, I hate being critical, but I just don't want people to miss the point like @realitycheck. Keep up the good work though. It's nice to read stuff that isn't completely apologist like on some other blogs. Did I just reverse my position? I dunno...
