Phish Nears 1500th Performance

We've removed from the database those 36 entries that referred not to actual shows but to mislabelled recordings. That leaves 1498 by the band in our hyperlinked system, including private parties such as weddings as well as public performances such as free shows, ticketed shows, television and radio appearances, pre-game national anthems, and one well-known "parking lot Jam". Fifty-seven of those performances are not counted for statistical purposes on this site, for one reason another, leaving 1442 public shows. Collectively, however, they mean that the second night of Festival 8 (10/31/09, in Indio, CA) will be the band's 1500th known performance.
