Thank God for the hint, because while I was in the right year for three of the clips, I was in the wrong song!

1) 7/25/03
2) 10/5/95 (clip is from the intro!)
3) 2/3/91
4) 11/17/94

I don't know what the unifying theme is other than they all come from the song named after the late, great David Bowie. They are from four different months in four different years, played in four different states.
Well done! Great work.

So I'm a little curious. Beyond the dead ringer of a hint, there was no angle on this one to narrow it down from the potential 450+ versions of the tune? I know there was ballparking it from era, but no secondary theme of venue, or date, or city.

Funny point about enduring an extended straight shot of early 90's dissonance. I would recommend throwing on the Carpenters Greatest Hits to decompress.

Cheers
You make a good point. These MJMs are needles in haystacks, especially without a unifying theme. For the first two clips, I guessed the year based on the band's sound (Trey's in the '03 clip and Mike's in the '95 clip, in particular) and narrowed it down from there. The '95 clip sounded like it was from an indoor show, so I started there and had it within a couple of minutes. The '94 clip I found in much the same way. But man, those early Bowies all sound similarly and going through a million of them from the early 90s nearly drove me insane.

Wasn't there once a People for a Louder Page movement? I'll sign up for a People for a Secondary Unifying Theme So MJM Doesn't Take Up My Whole Day movement. :)

Note: This isn't criticism of the members of the emeritus club (emereti?) who are putting the MJMs together. Kudos to them for making us work for our prize!
