This show featured the TAB debut of Peaches en Regalia. Gotta Jibboo contained Streets of Cairo teases.  Last Tube contained an I Love Lucy theme tease during the band intros and culminated in a brief Also Sprach Zarathrusta jam. Push On 'Til the Day included an Oye Como Va tease.

Review by ThinMan

ThinMan A hugely fun night again at The Palace theater. I have never been a fan of the percussion parade to close a show, so to get it to open and into a extremely danceable Caymen seemed to get this night off to a great start. The rest of the first set flowed so nicely with a surprise Peaches, mid-first set STUD, a nasty What's Done (a song that is way underrated) and one of my favorite songs - Wherever You Find It. Comes As Melody (last one played, btw) to close the first was a major surprise and a brought the house down.

Curlew's Call was a breakout and added to the feeling that this was a special night. Plasma as always was crushed. The other song that stood out for me was Love is Freedom. While I personally love this song, it has gone through many different versions and is even played acoustic many times. This was a competely different beast. Stretched out, jammed a bit and brought back to its ending.

The other major highlight was the Push. TAB consistantly crushes this, but a stand-alone, barn-burner to encore was smoking. Absolutely smoking.

Fall '06 is my favorite TAB tour and this Albany show is one of the many reasons. Too bad we only have Aspen, Vegas and Atlantic City as SBDs.
