metawhy Trey had one helluva band and groove going in the summer of 02. Listening back on it now, it almost sounds superhuman. Cyro adds a ton of flavor on the percussion, and the horns were incredibly flexible and creative.

I'm reviewing this show in particular because of the MONSTER SAND that opens up set two. About 11 minutes in, they band goes into a massive Funkadelic Jam that you will recognize if you listen to the P-Funk. The whole thing just sounds so good and organic.
