This was my first 3.0 show. The guy I happened to have sat next to was watching his first show since 12/31/97. He got hit by a car right after that NYE show, went into a coma, came out it a couple months later, and didn't remember the show. He said to me that he wanted to hear what he "missed" so to speak, and that's why he decided to come along. The view from the top of the venue is really hypnotic as you can stare out into the seemingly endless ocean.

I don't remember any distinct highlights from the show. I remember they played Kill Devil Falls for the first time as Trey obliged a fan (what no Forbins/Mockingbird long shot request?).

I swear I remember a few years back, reading some bizarre short story on this site, a detective story(?) that had this show as the setting. It would be nice if Phish came back and played again at Jones Beach. That freaking monsoon that took place pre-show/1st set of the Summer '13 show, shouldn't be the last one.
