MYSTERY JAM MONDAY PART 184

With 39 days to wait for a new Phish show to be played, come waste your time with the 184th edition of Phish.Net's Mystery Jam Monday. The winner will receive an MP3 download courtesy of our friends at LivePhish.com / Nugs.Net. To win, be the first person to identify the song and date of the mystery jam clip. Each person gets one guess per day, with the second “day” starting after I post the hint. A hint will be posted on Tuesday if necessary, with the answer to follow on Wednesday. Good luck!

Yep, sounds like the 7/10/98 Simple 'Jam' a few minutes before it turns into Weekapaug. Listen to Fish's drumbeat, sounds like he's hinting at 'paug. Kinda fitting I guess, because Fish has led a segue into Weekapaug a few times in the last year -- the awesome Themeapaug from Chicago and Ghostapaug from MSG from last year, and a couple more Ghostapaugs at Great Woods and Chicago this year. Not sure how @dagumdave took a wild guess and landed on the right show?!

phucccck, i knew i'd heard the show before. heard hints of paug but that halley's came to mind. then i listened to it, and i was like uhhh...loop madness. that was my first time playing, at least i got the show right :p

Stage 1 of MJM is denial. Haven't heard this jam in a while. I actually finally compiled my own MJ list spanning from the 80s through the current and I look forward to continuing to follow MJM to fill in the gaps.
