So I got my first "Curtain With" in Charleston and I found it to be absolutely gorgeous. How does it compare to other curtains of the past. To have the 8/15/04 listed as a "recommended version" is an insult to one of the most gorgeous songs in the catalog. The Brooklyn version and even 9/30/00 are worth hearing instead of this awful memory.
It's still a version (and a show!) every fan should hear IMO (though I agree it ain't good).

I was so amazed when the band played "The Curtain With" acoustically at Festival 8! Trey had just told us all to sit down a few songs before, but as soon as they started this song everyone got back up on their feet. It sounds so different with piano instead of organ.

For those of you looking for a good version of The Curtain With, check out this one from 8/1/09. Mike sounds awesome here. Melodic bass lines galore!
