The folks that run this site are so busy bickering over whether or not Quadrophonic Toppling was performed at Big Cypress 23 years ago they totally missed Fishman’s four-minute tease of 2001 in Sigma Oasis. That’s ok though; some people still haven’t left Woodstock.

I missed Night 1, but Saturday night's show was quite a great way to start the concert weekend for me. The Reba and the fugue section were super tight. The last segment prior to “the note” Trey was trailing maybe a little bit more than normal but note-wise it was succinct and relatively flub free. Once the band leaves the composed section Trey starts real subtle and lingers there momentarily and the notes were so delicate. Great build as usual with whole band interplay culminating the whistling. #thebomb.com!!

I made it into the pit by the ending of Sigma to then hear a solid first set. AC/DC Bag to Reba to Roggae got me pumped up and couldn't wait for what is up next. Free was solid and a perfect first set closer. For the second set. Mr.Completely was the Jam of the night. You definitely got to listen to it. What's the Use got the crowd pumped up for the ladder half of the show. It's weird Moma Dance has usually been a first set opener, but it's a nice change and welcomed. I always wondered who sang the female part in If I Could. Then the BIG FINALE of the ANTELOPE A SOILD WAY TO END THE NIGHT. For the Encore, it was nice to watch I Am in Miami being performed live. And finally, they closed it with Izabella. The seven to eight-hour driver to Orange Beach was TOTALLY WORTH IT. You're Already There.

Also, not show-specific, but I'm finding that the venue provides highly distinctive sound from the pit to the very top row of the bleachers. And Trey's tone is just indescribably rich. I mean, we all know, but I still want to say it out loud. The lower-on-the-neck chords that Trey plays during Roggae, for instance--jeez, I could listen even to those all night.
