SET 1: Horn > Chalk Dust Torture, Taste That Surrounds, The Lizards, Free, Esther > David Bowie, I'm Blue, I'm Lonesome[1]

ENCORE: Theme From the Bottom, Sweet Adeline
I have not actually listened to this whole show but i have listened many times to the fantastic Bathtub Gin. I will not try to explain it but i would like to point out a Dave's Energy Guide tease starting around 7:20. This wasn't a tease of the main theme of DEG which is usually the part teased. During the jam, Trey teases for a while the "diamond shaped" (see DEG song history) pattern that is the beginning of the original full DEG (for a good example listen to 11/23/85 which also has that famous Whipping Post jam). Just wanted to point that out and hope it gets listed in the show notes and the tease chart.

Alright, it's been a bit, but continuing December '95 with the second night of UMASS.
Alright, it's been a bit, but continuing December '95 with the second night of UMASS. I love this show! Especially Set II! The run from Gin > Harry is not to be missed -- that Gin is almost my favourite, and Page leads a good portion of the jam as Trey moves to his mini-drums ... VERY cool!

VERY cool! SET 1: Horn: Trey has a tough time with his solo 2:51 to 2:56. What an odd opener, first and last time this happened. >
