Great show, downtown Orlando. First show, drove over with a bunch of friends from Dade City, Fl where we were in college. Just all around fun.We had to walk a pretty good distance to get to the venue, talk about a tense walk, nobody knew what to expect. Being our first shows, we were scares but stoked.

This is a fun show, with a bunch of highlights. The first set is pretty packed but it’s during the Melt where things get taken to the next level. This version is fantastic, building and building to that frenzied, chaotic place that the best versions of this tune take us. I’ll take Fluffhead to follow something like that anytime and this one doesn’t disappoint.

When I listen to this show it has a very club vibe. Lots of high energy rockers right from the start. VERY danceable show. After the show I met Fishman for the first time. He was with the twins and was headed off to Tampa. He was really nice and seemed surprised to be recognized. Which is really weird.
I was supposed to end tour this night and take the bus to Nashville to meet my father. I had the ticket and everything. However that night we found out that Phish was playing for free the next night in Gainesville. It was a tough decision but I decided to stay on tour. Jeff the guy whose car I was in said I could ride all the way up the east coast with him. This was an offer too good to be true and since I didn't have a job or anything going on it was on...
