Stash was unfinished. At the start of the Chalk Dust encore, the stage was engulfed by stage-diving, high-fiving fans. When a female fan's bear hug knocked a singing Trey away from the mic, he signaled "cut" to end the song, with Fish and Mike instead playing harder. Security then regained control and the song finished uninterrupted.

JARdale Listen to the Antelope.... one of the greatest versions ever. Seriously, I would put it up against any version ever and I have. My brother swore he had me beat and then I played him this one and he just bowed down. SICK!!!!!!

westbrook Solid all around show. Not the most jammed out show, but there's still lots of good stuff going on. Runaway Jim and Bouncing are standard. PYITE is good. Stash->TMWSIY>Avenu Malkenu>TMWSIY is unique and the segue works well. Scent of a Mule has a nice duel. Trey's solo at the end of Fluffhead is great. The Antelope to close the set is fantastic. Stash->TMWSIY and Antelope are the highlights from a good first set.
Set 2 begins innocently enough with 2001 and Sample, but the following Maze brings the heat. If I Could is a very nice departure from the intensity of Maze. Trey makes his guitar sing beautifully in this one. A quick Uncle Pen picks the energy up before a tremendous YEM with an excellent jam. The bass and drums section is especially great. A couple quick tunes leads into a very nice Hood. The jam is notable for dropping down to near silence in parts and has a strong ending. Highway to Hell makes a great set closer. Trey forgets some lyrics in the Chalk Dust Torture encore, but it ends the show on a high note. Trey also plays around with some effects during the verses, making for an interesting version.
If nothing else, give Stash->TMWSIY, Antelope, and YEM a listen.

Review by footprints64

footprints64 the reason Trey didn't sing some of the lyrics to Chalk Dust was due to the people that ran on stage. Trey was disgusted, or at least that was my impression standing up front near him and Paige, if memories serves me, and I should just go listen, I believe they cut the song short. They weren't happy about the "white caps" as they were referred to back then. Essentially they were frat brothers that were there stirring up trouble in the lot and in the seats.

great show overall :)
