Vail then Boulder --> quite the 1-2 punch. Another great show. Tons of energy at Balch amidst the smoke and heat. I lived 1/2 mile from the venue so it was super easy. The party started early and resumed after the show.

About thirty minutes before leaving, we heard first-hand that security was tough. Two dudes in our group decided to go early to get up front. They were asked to empty their pockets and you know what happened next. The second guy seeing this ate a whole bag of fungus rather than giving it up. Instead of going into the show they walked back to the party and told everyone to be alert and get creative. The fungus guy didn't make it back to Balch. Nobody saw him for the next few days...
