Wynonna Judd
Full Name: Wynonna Judd
Considered by some as the queen of current country music, Wynonna Judd joined Phish along with other members of Nashville’s finest on 6/22/00. She first gained fame singing alongside her mother, Naomi Judd. The duo racked up four Grammys and eight Country Music Association Awards while releasing ten albums that went either gold or platinum. When Naomi was forced to retire due to health reasons, Wynonna kept on going and going. Surely, the highlight of her career came when she altered the lyrics to “Freebird” to reference a fondness for a certain greasy drummer at the aforementioned show in Antioch, TN.
