The Boston Community Choir helped Phish ring in a joyous 1997 during the third set and encore of NYE 1996. Wading amidst a sea of balloons that had earlier accumulated on stage, the choir sang during the debut of “Bohemian Rhapsody,” a rousing “Julius,” and an oh-so-fitting “Amazing Grace.” The band seemed to have as much fun performing with the choir as the choir did with them.
