netphish About the Web Site netphish

A Welcome to Newcomers Wednesday, 09-Apr-2008 16:04:21 EDT

The Phish.Net Web Site is maintained by Ellis Godard, Dan Hantman, and Rob Johnson (who may collectively be reached at webmaster@phish.net). The site was designed in part by Robert Johnson, and in part by Scott Boyarsky. There is also a Phish.Net WWW Work Group that provides advice and occasional assistance to the principal webmasters.

The information contained on this site represents years of gathered wisdom from the Phish.Net community. At this time would like to thank Lee Silverman <lee@netspace.org>, Rosemary Dean Mackintosh <rosemary@cyberenet.net> and Eddie Dinel <torque@leland.stanford.edu> for their work in the past as webmaster@phish.net. We would also like to thank Ellis Godard <ellis@archive.phish.net> for his years of work on the Phish.Net FAQ, Dan Hantman <dan@netspace.org> for rebuilding and maintaining the Helping Phriendly Book, Brian Fisk <bfisk@netspace.org> and Doug "Sirilyan" Sheppard <sirilyan@dlcwest.com> for their work in designing the Phish.Net Search Engine. Additional thanks goes out to Phillip Zerbo <pzerbo@aol.com> for volunteering to run automated validation of the newly redesigned web site and for pointing out a few errors right off the bat; as have both Mark 'Marco' Walsh <marco@rainmakersystems.com> and Chris 'Tattoo Fru' O'Malley <webmaster@fruvous.com>. And, of course, our eternal gratitude goes out to the hundreds of fans who have assisted in the development of this web site by providing articles, interviews, news, and both setlists and reviews amongst other things as well as for their comments and criticism. Without your help, much of this site would not exist.

The HPB and FAQ have their own sets of credits on the respective pages.

The Net.Phish, the beanie wearing Phish.Net logo, was designed by Matt Laurence and is used with permission. The title graphic on the Phish.Net homepage was designed and donated by a now-anonymous artist. The majority of the other graphics on the site, unless otherwise noted, were designed by Robert Johnson.

The Phish.Net web site http://www.phish.net/ is hosted by NetSpace. We extend our gratitude to the past and present system administrators of Brown University's NetSpace Project for the years of excellent service they have provided.

Of course, these pages wouldn't even be here if it weren't for the wonderful band known as Phish.
