Nice choices this week. 8/28 is actually a well played show throughout and definitely worth a listen. Oh, and what's with always checking to see if I'm a robot? It almost makes me want to create a "jaded vet" robot that heavily favors Phish 1.0 and streams performances from Big Cypress to drown out anyone that tries to make a positive assessment of Phish 2.0/3.0.
I had a feeling this week's would go down quickly, but I just couldn't help myself – I love all four Greek shows (and the first third of my handle refers to my two UC Alma Maters).

Oddly enough, likely due to burning myself out the first two nights, those being my first Phish shows at my (undergrad) alma mater, and the anxiety over keeping my wife's pregnancy (of twins taboot) secret for a couple more weeks despite wanting to tell the dozens of friends I attended with, I just couldn't lock into the 8/7/10 Light when it was played live. Enjoyed it? Absolutely. Distracted? Yeah : /

Upon relisten, it's unbelievably special, particularly that section starting at the 9 minute mark. On the fly composition would be an understatement... but that night, while some of my friends had profound spiritual experiences during Light, I just bobbed my head and danced along. If I could go back in time, I'd rage that jam like there was no tomorrow...
