As for the heads-up @uctweezer, i like it, but can we PM you the answer if we find it before the hint? If a first timer gets it before the hint, that's fine. My concern is that if no first-timer gets it before the hint and we're open to it, I won't be able to post the answer if i have it (I'll be at work). Others may have that problem as well.

So basically, it would be first to PM you unless a first-timer gets it before the hint. Sound good?

(Though you may want to suspend the new rule for, I don't know, say, any six-time winners going for emeritus? {Hint, hint, wink wink ;) })
That's totally fair, and I think it's a good idea to say that previous winners can PM as soon as they have the answer on the first Monday of the month, and when I sit down to drop the hint the next morning, if someone has PM'd the correct answer before then, I'll announce the first person to have done so as the winner instead of bothering with the hint.

Though I figured most wink wink six time winners would wanna go out with a bang rather than on some single clip walk in the park on the first day of the first MJM of the month! ;)
Hey, this month's was no walk in the park! You almost had us! Good point though.
It's funny that because the technology and the guessing crew have both gotten so insanely good that the MJM almost making it to the hint – yet still outright losing – is considered "almost" stumping you guys :) And to be clear, I was feeling pretty good about myself with a one clipper making it not only through my work day, but also till I went to sleep! It's all relative to expectations...
