I mean, I know our attention spans are shortened these days, but dang...

"It took forever for you to just to the show review. Geez."

Recaps aren't always just straight up show reviews. That's kind of the point of having them.

"There needs to be a mandatory that you must attend the show in person to write a review. I'm sick of these couch tour your reviewers."

You realize these "couch tour your reviewers" do this entirely sans compensation and because they love the band and love writing about them? Track down three people coming back from Mexico and ask them to pen something about the three shows, I can imagine you'll pull that off much more successfully than the .net moderators can. Also, a million lulz if you think someone at the show will be *less* likely to write a super-positive review than someone couch touring.

"Gimme a break already. The basketball analogies were horrible."

The basketball analogies were analogies.

"Nearly a perfect set my ass."

Well, where's the flaw? Remember, not playing a 20 minute jam isn't a flaw. The DWD was quite good and the segue into NMINML is superb. Possum was a version I'll listen to again, and I'm not the biggest Possum fan in the world. Carini brought some 1/17/16 C&P style darkness, Bowie was strong for not being the freakin' 7/30/97 version, and Hood kept Hood's winning streak well alive. It might not be 7/13/14 II, but a) that's not a problem unless you want it to be, and b) this was a darn good set of music without something that'd make you go "what the heck?".

"I'm tired of these reviews who only think that whatever Phish does is the greatest venue subjective for crying out loud."

I'm not quite sure what you're going for here.

"Bring back sausage Mahoney to tell it like it is."

This freakin' KILLS me. You don't think @sausagemahoney would have flipped his lid if he'd been the one recapping 12/30/16? Not everyone thought 12/29/16 was substandard, bud.

"6.5 out of 10 no more."

Thanks!
