PLAGUE-CARRYING FLEAS CLOSE SHAKEDOWN ALLEY

ICYMI: Given the discovery that some black-tailed prairie dogs in and around Commerce City, Colorado, and in and around Dick's Sporting Goods Park, are still infested with bubonic-plague-carrying fleas, PHISH has announced that overnight camping near Dick's has been cancelled. In addition, given that it typically sets-up near the venue on a dirt plain, our beloved "Shakedown Alley, the traditional Phish tailgating spot, has also been shut down," and thus both wook and non-wook vending will be on asphalt at Dick's this year. When asked for comment, forty-four-year-old Phish fan Marco Esquandolas said, "The boys open Dick's with the first-ever 'Plague-Carrying-Fleas Harpua,' or I will never forigve them. Well, at least not until the Leprechaun bust-out."

In other news, there is a fall tour, and even though it's really a winter tour and not a fall tour, everyone is still invited and expected to attend... especially West Coast fans who not only feel slighted, but also aren't going to Dick's given the possible plague outbreak.

kidrob Seriously though, who is in charge of Phish’s marketing that they called this “fall tour.” Fall tour should only exist around Halloween runs at this point. I agree. This is definitely a winter tour, and I’m going.

Sneebles People who actually understand what an equinox and solstice is run Phish's marketing, apparently. Fall begins on September 23, 2019 and ends on December 21, 2019. It's a Fall tour.

phishphan97 Yeah, technically it IS still Fall Tour. And I'm in Florida, so the seasons don't really matter (endless summer baby!) so I'm pretty excited about the S.C. shows. An unusual 3 nite run for us oft-neglected southern folk. WOO-HOO!

If I had any idea this public service announcement to the online Phish fan community would inspire a condescending response from someone purporting to "actually understand what an equinox and solstice" are, and then a reply from someone noting the start of meteorological winter, particularly given that anyone who knows anything about fall and winter in Rhode Island and New York knows it isn't "fall" there after Thanksgiving, I would never have posted it, but instead used my limited time and resources to locate the right companies in or about Commerce City, Colorado, who I could compensate to capture black-tailed prairie dogs carrying plague-carrying fleas, and maintain them in good health in captivity, and then release them into the lots of the Dunkin' Donuts Center after turkey day, on winter terr, to the great delight and amusement of all.
